Description
Spawn "Home Bitter Home" Wanda Blake and Terry Fitzgerald Production Cel with Key Master Background and Layout Drawing (HBO, 1998). "A hell Spawn is returned to Earth soul-less, his mind ravaged, his memory shattered." During the first episode of the second season of Spawn, at the 7:33 mark, we can witness Spawn's disjointed memories from his past life as he has visions of his memorial service. The hand-painted three-layer production cel features the newly widowed Wanda Blake crying, measuring 7.5", as Terry Fitzgerald stands at 4.5". The bottom cel depicts the church's windows. This great multi-layered cel is presented on the Key Master background shown on the scene, done in gouache on background board, and measuring 11.25" x 9.5". The lot also includes a photocopy of the layout drawing of the background, displaying blue colored pencil and the coffin with the American flag, done in graphite and blue and red colored pencils on a 10" x 9.25" piece of paper. The production cel has its two bottom layers adhered together. Some tape can be seen on the right edge of the Key Master background and extra pegholes on the top edge. The copy of the layout drawing has tape joining to add the photocopy to the center of the animation paper and an additional piece of paper to the bottom to display the coffin, pinholes on the top right corner, staple holes near the tape on the right, a tear near the center pegholes, and wear on the left and right pegholes. The layout also has a print of the still from the episode taped near the top left corner and has tone tape on the top edge. In Very Good condition.More information about HBO Production Artist.
