Space Ace Original Borf Production Cel (Don Bluth, 1984)....
Description
Space Ace Original Borf Production Cel (Don Bluth, 1984). This original production cel from Space Ace features the formidable Commander Borf, the primary antagonist of Don Bluth's visually dynamic arcade animated adventure. Voiced by Bluth himself, Borf plots to conquer Earth using his diabolical "Infanto Ray," a device designed to transform the planet's population into helpless infants and secure his ultimate power. His scheme inadvertently strikes hero Ace, reverting him to his youthful alter ego, Dexter, who must "ENERGIZE" with a special wrist device to temporarily regain his adult form and battle Borf's forces while rescuing Kimberly. Beautifully hand-painted on 12-field acetate, this striking cel captures Borf's menacing presence and distinctive animated design that made Space Ace a cult favorite of the 1980s. The cel is paired with a background print from another series, creating a visually compelling and rare display presentation. A desirable piece of Bluth-era animation art, this production cel is offered in Very Good condition.Auction Info
