Description
Space Ace De-Horned Grumlet and Ace Production Cel (Don Bluth, c. 1983). One of Borf's Grumlet guards gets his horn knocked off his head and broken into pieces in this crazy-cool original hand-painted 12 field animation cel from Don Bluth's classic LaserDisc video game. According to the Magicom Promotional Kit for the arcade game, a Grumlet is "a goblin-like soldier who guards Borf's laboratory" - we'd say "ogre" would be a more descriptive term for this gray-skinned beast! Ace and the Grumlet have a large combined image measuring approximately 12.25" x 8.75". The scene-matching background is a print, added for presentation purposes. This action-packed scene makes for a great production cel that will display nicely for the true-blue Space Ace fan! The cel is noted as 7 in the lower right corner, and is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear.Auction Info
