S.O.S. Pads Commercial Magic Bunny Production Cel on Key Master Background (S.O.S. Company, 1951). Little is known about this Magic Bunny who serves as spokesperson for the S.O.S. Company in 1951. Nevertheless, this is a magnificent Key Master setup/title cel for his appearance in the black and white animated commercial titled Simple Sorcery. This is an original hand-inked hand-painted 2-cel setup. The character stands 7" tall on a 12 field cel over a hand-painted Key Master Background. The background is beautifully painted in gouache and the detail is on par with any of the top animation studios of the period. Despite the character's mysterious origins, the artistry and workmanship in creating this one-of-a-king piece is extraordinary. The vintage TV commercial setup is framed under glass with a mat opening of 12" x 9" in a 21" x 17" frame. There are some cracks in the paint on the bunny's right foot; Otherwise Condition is Very Good. Frame sold as-is.
