    Description

Song of the South Br'er Rabbit Production Cel and Pan Background Color Key Setup (Walt Disney, 1946). "Is this the Laughin' Place?" An unusual and wonderful setup... it features a hand-inked, hand-painted cel of Br'er Fox about to pull Br'er Rabbit down a hole. The trimmed cel is on top of an impressive hand-painted pan image of the meadow that was a color key/study from which the finished background would be produced. Rabbit is approximately 2.5" tall on the 29" x 4" background. Produced in gouache on board, the piece is Plexiglas front framed to 39" x 14" and aside from some slight frame-wear, is in Fine condition.
