Description
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Snow White and Bashful Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1937). "Be awful careful, 'cause if anything'd happen to you, I, I..." After Snow White gives Doc a kiss to send him off to work, Bashful nervously approaches the Princess, in this superb Courvoisier setup with custom painted airbrushed background. This is a nice large setup with two hand-inked, hand-painted production cels meticulously trimmed to outline. Snow White bends down to kiss Bashful's bald head at about the 1:06:17 mark, while Bashful gets, well, bashful and twists his hat at around the 106:21 mark. Bashful's entire head turns red in the film; he's colored normally here, so the red color was added in production, or this is a color model cel from the same scene. Snow's approximate overall image size is 5.25" x 7.5", while Bashful stands about 4.75". The scene is matted with an opening of 9.5" x 8.75", and ornately framed with glass for an overall size of 21" x 20". A small Disney cert is on the back. The frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Good with some light foxing and slight curling.Auction Info
