Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Happy Production Cel Courvoisier Setup with Walt Disney Signature (Walt Disney, 1937). One of the hardest Snow White characters to find is Happy who has very little screen time compared to other dwarfs. He was voiced by vaudeville comedian and early film actor, Otis Harlan. This is an original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Happy in a Courvoisier airbrushed wood veneer setup. The 5.5" x 4" character has been trimmed to the image, applied to an acetate cel and presented over a wood veneer background with his name printed in the upper left. The setup is in its original Courvoisier mat which bears an authenticated Walt Disney signature to the lower right of the art. There were several people on staff who were authorized to sign autographs for Mr. Disney, so to find a genuine signature is a very rare and special thing. Combine the signature with an original piece of art from the first animated feature film and you have a truly unique piece of animation history. The mat shows light tanning and the cel has likely has some restoration. Condition is Very Good.
