Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Grumpy, Dopey, and Happy Production Cel and Key Master Background Overlay Setup (Walt Disney, 1937). As the Dwarfs return home one evening, Grumpy, Dopey, and Happy discover that someone has already started some soup in their pot and it is starting to boil! This setup features four hand-inked, hand-painted layers (one for each Dwarf and one for the pot lid). The four are trimmed to the edges and placed on a clear cel with the original hand-painted trimmed Key Master production background overlay of the hearth and fireplace. Grumpy and Happy are Key from this overlay. Dopey, although in this scene, is a cel from another scene. He does complete this scene from the movie nicely, however. The full figure Dwarfs measure approximately 3.75" tall. Minor professional paint restoration has been done. The scene appears at approximately 28:15 in the film. In Fine condition.Auction Info
