Description
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Evil Queen with Heart Box Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1937). "Snow White lies dead in the forest. The Huntsman has brought me proof. Behold her heart." The iconic antagonist of Disney's first feature-length film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, shows us the heart box she believes holds the heart of Snow White in this extremely rare, untrimmed, hand-painted and hand-inked nitrate production cel. Numbered 151 in the bottom right corner, this remarkable production cel displays the malevolently poised Disney Villain in her unmistakable outfit, measuring a splendid image size of 5.5" x 7", a classic image of the Evil Queen created to appear at the 48:24 mark of the film, just before the Magic Mirror informs her that she has been deceived. This lot is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. The cel presents overall waviness, tape residue on its corners, and some toning on the collar area of the Evil Queen's cape. Presenting light handling and edge wear from production, this extraordinary lot is in Good condition.Auction Info
