DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs Dopey Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1937). Dopey get a kiss on the forehead from Snow white as he leaves for work with the other Dwarfs on this original production cel from Disney's first animated feature. Dopey is by far one of the most lovable and popular dwarf and this full-figure image measures an impressive 4" x 4". The hand-inked hand-painted character has been carefully trimmed from its original nitrate cel and applied to a 12 field acetate cel which is over a custom hand-painted background. In the background a shadow of Snow White has been cleverly added to complete the scene. It's an adorable composition from the very first animated feature ever made. Art is framed under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 10" x 9" in a 20" x 19" frame. The piece shows minor handling and the cel has been restored. Condition is Very Good. Frame id sold as-is.
