Description
Shirt Tales Main Characters Production Cel with Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1982). Lovable animals Digger Mole, Tyg Tiger, Rick Raccoon, Pammy Panda, and Bogey Orangutan are about to tumble into the water (someone took the bridge!), in this original hand-painted 12 field production cel. The cel is paired with the screen-matched original hand-painted background. Shirt Tales was based on a line of popular greeting cards from Hallmark; the show ran for two seasons in 1982-83. The cel is placed over an original hand-painted background that was used frequently, including the title montage; in it, the bridge that is missing here would lower on one edge, and the Shirt Tales crew would drive their little car through the rectangular opening. The cel has a combined image size of approximately 6.5" x 3". The gouache on board background and cel are in Fine condition with minor handling wear.Auction Info
