Description

Scrooge McDuck and Money Uncle Scrooge Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). "Look at all the money we've saved, Unk!" Who could be better at teaching young Huey, Dewey, and Louie about fiscal responsibility than the World's Richest Duck? That would be none other than Uncle Scrooge McDuck, seen here in an original hand-painted 16 field production cel from this 1967 theatrical short, directed by Hamilton Luske. Other than a cameo on television's Mickey Mouse Club, this was Scrooge's first screen appearance, as well as the first animated film released after the death of Walt Disney in December 1966. In this scene, Scrooge holds the children's stuffed-full piggy bank, as seen at about the 2:09 timestamp. Scrooge has an approximate image size of 4" x 5.25". The cel has been placed on a color print of Scrooge's money bin to complete the image; it's matted with an opening of 14.25" x 10.25" with an overall mat size of 20" x 16". The condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling.
