Description

Scrooge McDuck and Money Uncle Scrooge and Donald's Nephews Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). Uncle Scrooge McDuck makes his first theatrical animated film appearance in this short, directed by Hamilton Luske. Other than a cameo on television's Mickey Mouse Club, this was Scrooge's first screen appearance, as well as the first animated film released after the death of Walt Disney in December 1966. This is a rare hand-painted cel of Scrooge with all three of Donald Duck's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Scrooge explains to the boys that "inflation" means "your money will be worth less and less." The combined image size for the nephews is approximately 3.25" x 3.75", while Scrooge's full-figure image is 3.75" x 6". The cel is matted and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 21" x 17" x 1.25". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Very Good to Fine with light handling wear.
