Description

Scrooge McDuck and Money Scrooge McDuck Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). "Now laddies, is everything clear?" Scrooge makes his animated debut in the educational featurette Scrooge McDuck and Money, directed by Hamilton Luske and released to theaters on 3/23/1967. The duck teaches his grandnephews about money and dives into everything from its history to how to budget, all explained by Bill Thompson in the one and only time he voiced the Scrooge. He measures about 2.75'' x 4.75'' and was created for roughly 15:36 when he asks Huey, Dewey, and Louie if he made the concept of money, stocks, and investment make a little more sense. They still don't get it, but they have to agree that what Scrooge is selling sounds like a good deal! The hand-painted duck is displayed on a print background for presentation purposes and is numbered 14 in the lower right corner. Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear.
From the Disney Legend Inductee Andreas Deja Collection.
