Description
Sailor Moon Sailor Chibi Moon and Sailor Moon Production Cel Setup with Master Background and Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Toei Animation, c. 1992-97). The mother-and-daughter duo of Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon takes the spotlight in this magnificent lot from Sailor Moon which features them on a great hand-painted production cel which is presented on an amazing Master background from the series and accompanied by its matching animation drawing. This outstanding lot has the Sailor Scouts in their Super Sailor form measuring great figure sizes of 3.5" x 3.5" for Chibi Sailor Moon and 3.75" x 6.5" for our lovely protagonist, Sailor Moon. Showing some beautiful greenery, the Master background featured with the production cel can be seen at the 19:45 timestamp of the Sailor Moon SuperS episode "Pegasus Revealed," rendered in gouache on background board and trimmed to the approximate size of the cel. The two matching animation drawings numbered A2 for Chibi Sailor Moon and B2 for Sailor Moon, display the characters' detailed linework, done in graphite with colored pencil shading and details. An exposure sheet from the production of the show is included with the lot. Both layers of the production cel have adhered to each other and to the background. The cel is also taped to the background by the top corners. Animation drawing B2 has a small piece missing near the top right corner, away from the art. Light fading is visible on the linework of the production cel. Presenting overall light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.More information about Sailor Moon.
