Rugrats "Weaning Tommy" Tommy Pickles Production Cel (Nickelodeon, 1992). The fearless baby Tommy Pickles is featured in this lot with a fantastic hand-painted production cel showing the iconic toddler enjoying his bottle. Seen at the 9:50 mark of the Episode "Weaning Tommy," this 12-field cel has the culmination of the episode that had Didi's efforts to wean Tommy. After seeing Tommy struggle without his bottle, Didi, Lou, and Stu each try to sneak a bottle just to find Tommy peacefully asleep. Agreeing to give Tommy his bottle back in the morning, they return to their rooms, although Lou realizes that the bottle he brought with him is missing...Tommy measures a phenomenal image size of 5" x 5.75", presenting the baby in full figure, showcased on a printed background for presentation purposes. A Nickelodeon sticker can be seen in the bottom left corner of the cel, and the lot includes a COA. The cel presents some wear on the linework, possible re-inking, minor surface scratches that don't affect the art, and light handling wear from production. Condition is Good to Very Good.Auction Info
