Description
Ruff and Reddy Publicity Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1989). In 1957 Hanna-Barbera Studios was launched with its first series for NBC, "Ruff and Reddy." It also boasted the voice talents of Daws Butler and Don Messick. This is a published original hand-painted cel from the Hanna-Barbera Publicity department that was done for use for the 1989 book "Art of Hanna-Barbera" by Ted Sennett. This image can be seen on page 48. The book was issued to celebrate the 50 year partnership of Hanna-Barbera, and had a television special produced to go along with the release of the book. In Fine condition, on a flat yellow background, with the main image measuring approximately 6" x 5". One of the best pure Ruff and Reddy cels we have ever seen!Auction Info
