Rocky and Bullwinkle Taco Bell Production Cel Signed by Bob Kurtz (Jay Ward/Kurtz & Friends, 1995). Rocky and Bullwinkle starred in a series of commercials for Taco Bell that were produced by Bob Kurtz of Kurtz & Friends. The spots were dead-on recreations of Jay Ward's memorable cartoon characters, complete with June Forey as the voice of Rocky and Bill Scott as Bullwinkle. They were created years after Jay's studio had shut down, and here's a great example: an original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field two-level production cel of our heroes, wondering when they would be featured in this commercial that focuses on Boris and Natasha ("You're in the next episode" says the announcer). The cel has a combined image area of approximately 8.25" x 8.5" and is placed on a colored paper background. The cel has been hand-signed by multi-award winner Bob Kurtz in the lower right. The cel's condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.From the Kurtz and Friends Archive.
