Description
Robin Hood "Fortune Teller-Disguised" Robin Hood Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1973). This original production cel from Disney's 1973 animated feature Robin Hood showcases the titular character in a dynamic moment as he runs while putting on his fortune teller disguise. The cel captures Robin Hood near the 9:31 timestamp, as he and Little John spot an approaching carriage and decide to disguise themselves as gypsy fortune tellers. Hearing music, they dash toward the carriage, preparing to carry out their plan to steal Prince John's ill-gotten jewels. Despite Little John's initial hesitation to rob the prince directly, Robin Hood convinces him, and together they successfully outwit Prince John, setting the stage for the prince's ongoing grudge against Robin. This beautifully hand-painted cel features a large 9" x 7" image of Robin Hood on 16 field acetate. It includes a Disney seal, with a Disney Certificate of Authenticity (COA) affixed to the back of the frame. The piece is framed to 19" x 16" and is in Very Good condition, making it a fantastic collectible from this beloved Disney classic. All frames are sold as-is.
