Description
Road Runner Television Commercial Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1981). The "Beep Beep" Road Runner stops running from Wile E. Coyote long enough to appear in an animated commercial for the Central Bank of Cleveland, in this terrific hand-inked, hand-painted production cel. Many Looney Tunes characters have made appearances in TV commercials over the years; prior to this one, the Road Runner could be seen in spots for Plymouth automobiles, and more recently the swift-moving desert bird was featured in GEICO Insurance and McDonald's commercials. This cel image measures approximately 2" x 4.5", and is placed on a print background. The cel, which included a 1993 WB seal, is matted with an opening of 11.5" x 8.5", and is framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 19.5" x 16.5". A Warner Brothers Certificate of Authenticity is on back of the frame. Cel condition is Fine with light handling. The frame is sold as-is.Auction Info
