Description

Racketeer Rabbit Bugs Bunny Production Cel with Custom Painted Background (Warner Brothers, 1946). "Okay, I'll hide ya. Quick, in here!" Bugs Bunny gets the better of gangster Rocky (an Edward G. Robinson-type) in this rollicking Friz Freleng-directed Looney Tunes classic short. This original hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of Bugs can be found at about the 5:49 timestamp, after fooling Rocky into thinking the police are raiding the abandoned house he is using as a hide-out (and Bugs was using as a place to stay dry during a rainstorm). The cartoon was released to theaters on 9/14/1946. Bugs Bunny's full-figure image measures approximately 3.25" x 5". The cel is placed on a custom hand-painted gouache on board background, signed Bev W. in the lower right corner. The setup is matted with an opening of 10.75" x 5.25" and framed using Plexiglas for an overall size of 21.75" x 20.25". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
