Description

Rabbit Transit Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1947). In their third and final encounter, Bugs Bunny and Cecil Tortoise play out Aesop's fable with a modern twist by equipping the latter with a rocket propelled shell. This classic Friz Freleng-directed theatrical short was written by the team of Michael Maltese and Tedd Pierce. Offered here is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of Bugs in full-figure and at full-speed as he races ahead of Cecil at the 5:59 mark. The image measures 5" x 4" on a 12 field cel that is over a hand-painted background for presentation purposes. It's a remarkable vintage Warner Brothers production cel from the golden age of Bugs Bunny cartoons. The art is preserved in a 23" x 20.5" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 11" x 8.5". Minor handing and condition is Very Good for this nearly 75-year-old cel. Frame is sold as-is.
