Description
Rabbit Rampage Bugs Bunny Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1956). "Whaddya trying to do, make me lose my job?" questions a confused Bugs Bunny, as the cartoonist who is drawing him seems to be taking his work less than seriously. This incredible, full-figure production cel of Bugs Bunny can be seen at about the 2:00 mark of the Chuck Jones-directed short Rabbit Rampage, which was a sequel of sorts to Duck Amuck, putting Bugs Bunny in the position of tormented cartoon character instead of Daffy Duck. It would be hard to find a better image than this, depicting a bewildered Bugs standing at about 3" x 7.25" on his 12 field production cel. The cel is numbered in its lower right corner with 583. Not many vintage Warner Brothers cels of this quality can be found today, making this a rare and highly desirable piece! It is in Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear, including very minor line wear and a creased lower right corner of the acetate (far away from the painted image).Auction Info
