Description
Quack Pack "Captain Donald" Donald Duck Original Production Cel with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1996). "Oh, I've gotta do all the work!" gripes Donald Duck in this scene. Donald and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie get shipwrecked in this episode of Quack Pack in which Donald captains his boss Kent's yacht and takes to the seas, only to run aground during a storm. Donald Duck sports a colorful Hawaiian shirt in this vibrant, hand-painted original production cel, which has been placed in front of the original Key Master background for this scene! This moment, which can be found at the 14:52 mark in the episode "Captain Donald," shows Donald hammering a board onto the hull of the beached yacht. The cel, which measures an impressive 8" x 6", has been signed by Disney Legends Frank Thomas (1912 - 2004) and Ollie Johnston (1912 - 2008), as well as the voice of Donald Duck from this series, Tony Anselmo. It also bears a seal in its lower left corner from Walt Disney Television Animation Art. The background is marked in its lower right corner as an original Walt Disney Television production background. The piece comes with a Walt Disney Certificate of Authenticity and is framed with plexiglass and matted, with a matboard aperture of 10.5" x 9" and a frame window that measures 15" x 16.75".
