Private Snafu - A Lecture on Camouflage Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1944). "Get in the shadows! Get in the shadows! Of course Private Snafu, shadows sometime move!" This is an extremely rare, hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Private Snafu from the Chuck Jones-directed and Dr. Seuss/Ted Geisel-written World War II propaganda cartoon short. It was released only to the Armed Forces on 4/24/44 and Mel Blanc provided all the voices. The image can be seen around the 2:50 mark into the short. Any and all artwork for this series is considered very rare. Great full-figure image of Private Snafu with his duffel bag, with a size of 4.25". Actual title image and screen grab photo prints are in the framed setup. Framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 24" x 16" with the main mat opening size of 10" x 8". Frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Very Good.
