Porco Rosso Savoia S.21, Curtiss R3C-0, and Audience Production Cel (Studio Ghibli, 1992). Donald Curtis chases after Proco Rosso as the thrilled audience tries to avoid their planes in this marvelous hand-painted production cel from Studio Ghibli's aeronautical masterpiece Porco Rosso. Wanting to settle things down finally, Porco and Donald agree to participate in a dog fight match, betting that if Porco wins, Curtis has to pay for the repairs on his seaplane; but if Curtis comes out victorious, he will have Fio's hand in marriage. Seen towards the end of the film, as Donald and Porco go head to head in their aerial duel, this two-layer production cel can be seen at the 1:17:43 timestamp. The three-layer production cel has the crowd climbing on the tower measuring 8.75" x 6", while Porco's Savoia S.21 measures 3" x 8". The cel is showcased on a printed background for presentation purposes. Crutis' seaplane is partially hidden behind Porco's Savoia. The cel's layers have been taped together by left corner, with some tape and tape residue on the bottom edge and the top right corner. In Very Good condition with minor handling wear from production.
