Popeye and Son Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1987). Papa Popeye proves he's still strong to the finish, as he hoists a heavy set of barbells -- with his fingertips, no less -- in this original hand-painted 12 field production cel. Popeye and Son premiered on September 19, 1987, bringing E. C. Segar's most famous creation up to date with the times; however, this cel shows a classic image of our favorite spinach-eating sailor. Popeye's figure size is 5.25". The cel is marked 10 in the lower right corner; the background is a sheet of colored paper. Very Good condition with minor handling wear.Auction Info
