Pokémon Meowth Production Cel (OLM, Inc., c. 1997-2002). Ready to start the show, it's none other than Meowth in this original production cel from the long-running Pokémon TV series. Team Rocket's Meowth is one of the most widely recognized Pokémon with his iconic role as a major comedic antagonist alongside Jessie and James in the anime series. Making his small screen debut in the Second Episode "Pokémon Emergency," Team Rocket's Meowth is distinct from the majority of Pokémon in that he can speak human language. Meowth's outstanding and nearly full-figured image has been hand-painted to 3" x 3.5" nicely centered in the lower half of the 12 field cel. The piece is marked D8 in the upper right and has been paired with a print background for display purposes; a studio printed copy of the background layout is included as a bonus. With typical handling and edge wear including minor linework wear with small areas of restoration, overall this charming Pokémon is in Very Good condition.
