Description
Pocahontas Presentation Cel on Production Background (Walt Disney, 1995). An original hand-painted cel, by the Disney Ink and Paint Department from animation drawings used to make the film. The cel has been placed on a hand-painted production background. Prepared for the 1996 Sotheby's "Art of Pocahontas" auction, this was lot #222. Framed to an overall size of 18" x 22.25", with an image area of 11" x 15". A Disney seal is on lower right of the cel. The Pocahontas figure is over 8" tall! This moody piece from a pivotal scene in the film is in Fine condition.Auction Info
