Description

Pluto's Quin-Puplets Production Title Cel (Walt Disney, 1937). Pluto was a great secondary character in Mickey Mouse shorts. He arrived as the star of his own cartoon in this short. The cartoon starts out with "Pluto the Pup" before the title card. The story had Fifi going shopping, and leaving Pluto to care for five young puppies. The short was directed by Ben Sharpsteen and had some animation done by Shamus Culhane. It was released on 11/26/37, a month before Snow White. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted nitrate Title cel. Again, this is Pluto's first theatrical short as the lead star -- a very historic piece! All five of the puppies are showcased on this cel! Title cel is in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 18" x 16.5" with a mat opening of 10" x 8.5". Frame is sold as-is, cel condition is Very Good.
