Description
Pinocchio Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1940). "They got strings, but you can see, there are no strings on me!" All eyes are on the amazing Pinocchio, the stringless puppet, in this lot that showcases the prominent Disney character in full-figure as seen at the 37:44 mark of Pinocchio during his famous "I Got No Strings" musical number. Standing at a great figure size of 1.75" x 5" on the hand-painted and hand-ink production cel, this admirable image of our wooden protagonist shows his classic outfit and timeless character design, courtesy of Milt Kahl, Hamilton Luske, and Albert Hurter. This great production cel from the 1940 animated classic is featured on a printed background, and showcased on a Plexiglas-fronted 20.25" x 17.25" with a mat opening of 11.75" x 9". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The production cel has minor handling wear from production and shows signs of restoration.
