Pinocchio Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1940). "Here's an apple for your teacher, now turn around and let me look you over!" says Geppetto, as he is sending Pinocchio off to his first day of school (Figaro will then pull out his forgotten school book). This is an outstanding Courvoisier hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Pinocchio with the teacher's apple, happily headed off to school. This is right before he meets J. Worthington Foulfellow (Honest John) and Gideon, and his troubles begin! Superb full-figure image, with a size of 6". Original script Courvoisier mat is under new framing mats. Cel is trimmed to image and applied to a custom-painted background. What an image! Matted with an opening of 7" x 7", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 17" x 20". Frame is sold as-is, setup condition is Very Good.
