    Description

Pinocchio Jiminy Cricket Signed Production Cel and Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1940). "Kneel Mr. Cricket. I dub thee, Pinocchio's Conscience. Lord high keeper of knowledge of right and wrong. Counselor in moments of high temptation and guide along the straight and narrow path. Arise Sir Jiminy Cricket!" says the Blue Fairy to Jiminy. This is an outstanding, hand-inked, hand-painted, trimmed-to-edge, production cel of Jiminy Cricket, in a beautiful image with his hat and umbrella, measuring 3.5". The cel is hand-signed by Ward Kimball (1914-2002) in silver pen; Mr. Kimball brought Jiminy Cricket to life in this landmark film. The cel is placed on a custom Courvoisier-like painted background. Matted, with an opening of 5" x 6", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 14" x 18". Frame is sold as-is. Cel is in Very Good condition.
