    Description

Pinocchio Jiminy Cricket Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1940). This is a striking production cel setup of Pinocchio's "conscience," Jiminy Cricket, set against a custom hand-painted Courvoisier underwater background. The composition is brilliant and the cel images include Jiminy, the clam, a crab, several fish, bubble effects, and ocean flora, as well an overlay of seaweed. The cels are meticulously hand-trimmed and placed on the special hand-painted background and a clear cel is placed over the setup. Jiminy is in full figure and measures approximately 3" tall. The art is beautifully framed with a mat opening of 10" x 12", in a 21.5 x 23.5 frame. There has been minor professional restoration; otherwise, condition is Fine.
