Pinocchio Geppetto, Pinocchio, and Figaro Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1940). Outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Geppetto, Figaro and Pinocchio, on its Key Master hand-painted production background. Large impressive images; Geppetto is 10", Pinocchio 6", and Figaro almost 3". This exact setup can be seen on page 70 in Pierre Lambert's fine book, The Art of Pinocchio, first published in France by De'mons and Merveilles in 1995. This scene is from Sequence 1.7 Scene 65.0, when Pinocchio's finger catches fire and Geppetto runs everywhere to get a pail of water. The cels are carefully hand-trimmed, Courvoisier-style, and positioned in this gorgeous setup, which is framed with Plexiglas. It's one of the single most impressive Key Master Pinocchio setups we have seen. Matted with an opening size of 14.75" x 10.5"; frame size is 27" x 22.75". Very Good condition.
