Description

Pink Floyd - The Wall Concept Art Cel with Animation Drawing (MGM, 1982). From the iconic 1979 movie based on the music album of the same name, we have a sensational concept cel and animation drawing from Pink Floyd - The Wall. This nightmarish image of Medusa's head morphing into the teacher was an idea that was not used in the final film, making this a unique rock and roll treasure. The image measures an impressive 8" x 6.5" on a cel bearing a Pink Floyd seal in the lower right, which is presented over the matching graphite drawing. The art is in a 20.75" x 17.25" glass-front frame, with a mat opening of 13.5" x 10". A COA approved by artist Gerald Scarfe and band member Roger Waters is included with the lot. Art pieces from this momentous musical drama are extremely rare, and this one-of-a-kind piece is an absolute must-have for any serious Pink Floyd fan! The lot shows some light toning, graphite smearing, and light handling wear. Overall, in Very Good condition. The frame is sold as-is.
