Description
Peter Pan Mermaids Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953). "Hello, Peter!" The famous Mermaids from Neverland make a splash in this wonderful lot, featuring a hand-painted and hand-inked production cel and a rare animation drawing. The lovely characters were voiced June Foray, Connie Hilton, Karen Kester, and Margaret Kerry. The production cel shows a full-figure image of the blonde Mermaid measuring a figure size of 5.5" x 5.25, an image that can be spotted at the 36:42 mark of the film, just before she picks up a star to put on her hair. Numbered 12 in the bottom right corner, the animation drawing shows a rough image of the Mermaid that appears at the 37:26 timestamp, rendered in graphite and blue pencil on the 12-field sheet measuring 6.25" x 4" and presenting a timing chart on the top right area. The cel is trimmed and shown on a printed background for presentation purposes. Normal age-related toning can be seen on the drawing. In overall Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
