DescriptionPeter Pan Captain Hook Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1953). "Blast that Peter Pan!" Voiced by the legendary Hans Conried, Captain Hook is one of Disney's most beloved villains. It is said that Walt didn't want him to die in the film because audiences would like him too much. This is an original hand-inked, hand-painted image of Captain Hook who measures 5.5" x 6" on a trimmed production cel. The cel is over a print background for presentation purposes. This is an exception pose both for its large size as well as the inclusion of the hook after which the character is named. Production art from this film is incredibly difficult to find and an image of this fan favorite villain, of this quality even more so. The art is framed under glass with a mat opening of 7" x 6.5" in a 16" x 15" frame. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
