Description

Pete's Dragon Elliott Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1977). This stunning rare 16-field production cel features Elliot, the titular dragon in the film. The 1977 feature was based off an unpublished short story with a similar title and explored the heartwarming relationship between Pete and his dragon, mixing live-action and traditional animation to tell a unique and memorable story. You can find this downcast dragon at about 29:35 in the film as he sits next to the boy in a seaside cave. Pete scolds him for causing trouble with the townspeople of Passamaquoddy, causing Elliot to lose his usually cheerful demeanor. This fantastic full-figure hand-inked and hand-painted cel measures approximately 7.75'' x 7.25'' in a 13.5'' x 10'' mat window. There is a Walt Disney seal in the lower right and a Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the 23'' x 19'' glass frame. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Very Good condition with only light handling wear.
