Peanuts A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Snoopy and Woodstock Production Cel Setup and Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Bill Melendez Studios, 1973). Snoopy and Woodstock are going to dress at Pilgrims for the Thanksgiving feast. It was the 10th animated special based on Charles Schulz' beloved Peanuts comic strip. Having already reminded us all of the true meaning of both Christmas and Halloween, it seems a natural for the Peanuts gang to take on Thanksgiving. Included in this group are: a wonderful setup of three hand-inked, hand-painted cel layers atop a laser print background; and then both of the matching graphite animation drawings for the character figures in those cels. Each of these bears an authentication stick from the Peanuts Film Gallery, and the production cels have an COA on the reverse of the frame authorized by Bill Melendez. Snoopy stands 3.75" tall, and Woodstock is 1.5" tall (which isn't bad, considering he's a tiny bird). All are matted and Plexiglas front framed (with a minor scratch on the front Plexiglas of the cel frame). The cel frame measures 18.25" x 15.25". The drawings' frames measure approximately 15" x 13".
