Description

Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day Tigger Art Corner Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1968). This exuberant original production cel spotlights Tigger from Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day (1968), Walt Disney Productions' charming featurette drawn from A. A. Milne's classic tales. Hand-painted on a standard 12-field acetate, the cel presents a delightful 5.5" image of Tigger-"T-I-double-guh-ER! That spells Tigger!"-perfectly centered for immediate display impact. It is paired with a color print background for context and neatly matted to 20" x 16". Originally sold at Disneyland's Art Corner, the piece retains the store's gold foil label on the reverse of the background print, a coveted marker of early Disney animation art retail and a wonderful touch of park provenance. The Art Corner, a Tomorrowland fixture from 1955 to 1966, helped introduce guests to the magic of animation by offering original cels straight from the studio. Beautiful linework, vibrant paint, and that unmistakable bounce capture Tigger at his exuberant best, making this a standout example from a beloved short. The top left corner of the cel is trimmed, with the area covered by the mat. Condition is Good, with cracking paint on Tigger's body and tail as well as edge wear from production use. A joyous cel that radiates the spirit of the Hundred Acre Wood and a highlight for any Pooh collection.
