    Olympinks Pink Panther Production Cel on Master Background with Animation Drawing (DePatie-Freleng, 1980). This half-hour TV special first aired on ABC on February 22, 1980 to coincide with the 1980 Winter Olympics. It was the final Pink Panther cartoon to be produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises as well as the last Pink Panther production involving creator Friz Freleng before departing to return to Warner Bros. Animation. This is an original hand-inked and hand-painted production cel of the Pink Panther who measures 6.5" x 4" on a 12 field cel. It is over an original hand-painted production background from the same production and sequence and the two pieces appear just seconds apart. The cel image can be seen at the 8:04 mark and the background at 7:57. With the Master setup is the original animation drawing which is rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. This is a fantastic setup from the final Pink Panther film directed by the legendary animator who created him. The setup and drawing share a common mat with dual openings of 12" x 9" with an overall size of 32" x 14". Condition on the lot is Very Good.
