Oliver & Company Production Cel Triptych Display (Walt Disney, 1988). (Walt Disney, 1988). Dodger and the dog gang, the box with Oliver and three other orphaned kittens (one being picked up) and Fagin star in this large matted and framed display featuring three original hand-painted production cels. This take on the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist was Disney's first animated film under supervision by Michael Eisner and Jeffrey Katzenberg and is considered a cult classic with fans. In the first cel, we see the gang of dog thieves led by Dodger as they are confronted by one of Sykes' vicious guard dogs; included in the cel with Dodger is Saluki, Francis, Einstein, and Tito. The middle cel with Oliver and the kittens includes a printed copy of the production background with paint embelishments. The image of Fagin holding the box of dog biscuits has an image size of approximately 4.25" x 5.5". The first opening measures 14.5" x 11"; the second is 15" x 10.5", and the third is 15" x 11". The cels, all with small Walt Disney Company seals, are framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 57.5" x 19". A Disney Certificate of Authenticity is included on the back side. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cels are in Fine condition with minor handling wear.
