Description
Neon Genesis Evangelion "Mind, Matching, Moment"Eva 01 and Eva 02 Production Cel (Gainax, 1995). The Evangelion Units 01 and 02 are deployed to action in this lot with an incredible hand-painted production cel from the ninth episode of the series "Mind, Matching, Moment." The appearance of Israfel poses a new challenge for the pilots, as the Angel is able to split into two separate beings that act simultaneously. To defeat their new opponent, Shinji and Asuka must learn to synchronize their movements and move as if they were one. This 12-field two-layer production cel has both Eva units launched in parallel before starting their synchronized attack, as seen at the 19:52 timestamp; both featured on their launching platforms with the effects, showing image sizes of about 1" x 3.75". The cel is displayed on a printed copy of the background. Light fading can be seen on the linework and overall, the lot is in Very Good condition, presenting minor handling and edge wear from production.Auction Info
