This is a pivotal moment in which the biological giant robot viciously devours the S² engine of the Angel Zeruel, furthering the clandestine motives of NERV commander Gendo Ikari. From the unforgettable scene, this image of the iconic Unit 01 is a must-have for any fan, especially for those in the know of the mysterious secrets of the Evas. Seen at the 20:11 mark of the episode "A Man's Battle", this awe-inspiring image nearly fills the 10.5" x 9" cel, and it is numbered 338 and A24 in the upper right corner.
