Neon Genesis Evangelion "An Angel's Invasion" Asuka Langley Soryu Production Cel (Gainax, 1996). "This test's purpose is to remove the support of your plug suits and conduct harmonics directly from your bodies" To Asuka's dismay, after going through the washing cycle 17 times, Ritsuko asks the young pilots not to wear their plug suits for the tests they are about to conduct. From Episode 13 of Neon Genesis Evangelion, we have a hand-painted production cel featuring Asuka, as seen at the 3:18 mark, blushing about the requirement to walk through the facilities without wearing a plug suit. Embarrassed for the test requirements, Asuka measures a figure size of 5.25" x 7" on the 12 field sized production cel, numbered C2 in the top right corner. The cel is presented on a printed copy of the bottom layers of the image. The production cel shows light surface scuffing and minor fading on the linework. Showcasing light handling and edge wear from production. The lot is in Very Good condition.
