Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol Production Cel (UPA, 1962). "You might be nothing more than the sour gruel I ate at supper! Bah, humbug!" Perfect for the holiday season, this lot contains a hand-inked and hand-painted original production cel of Mr. Magoo as Ebenezer Scrooge from the 1962 UPA holiday special Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. Produced over 60 years ago, this film was produced by UPA in its last days as an animation studio, and it was the first animated Christmas special to be produced specifically for television. An exceedingly rare artifact from this historic film! Mr. Magoo's image size is approximately 2.25" x 3.75" and is displayed over a print background. The cel shows light production handling wear and has paint loss/cracks on Magoo's pink night-cap. In Fair condition.Auction Info
