DescriptionMr. Magoo in Sherwood Forest Friar Tuck Production cel (UPA, 1964). This was an 80-minute made-for-television feature that starred Mr. Magoo in the role of Friar Tuck in the legend of Robin Hood. The film was directed by Abe Levitow who, previous to joining UPA Studios, was a longtime member of Chuck Jones animation unit at Warner Brothers. Here is an original hand inked hand-painted production cel of everyone's favorite near-sited retiree in his Friar Tuck robe with a mug of beer. The character image measures 4.5" x 3" on a 12 field cel. There is some black paint loss in his hair; otherwise condition is Very Good.
