Description
Moby Dick and Mighty Mightor Production Cels with Mightor, a Cave Bear, and a Scorpion with Production Backgrounds Group of 3 (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1967/1973). This "two in one" Saturday morning action/adventure series featured two episodes of prehistoric teen Tor who turns into hero Mightor with the help of a magic club. Here are three original hand-painted 12 field production cels from this single-season segment, including a cool full-figure image of Mightor waving something other than his club - a white flag perhaps? His approximate image size is 5.75" x 7"; the cel is placed on a hand-painted production background used in the 1973 series Speed Racer. The scary image of a saber-toothed bear measures 8" x 6" and is also placed on a background from Speed Racer. The enormous and frightening full-figure scorpion measures 8" x 7.5" and is placed on a hand-painted production background from another Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning series, Butch Cassidy (1973). The overall condition is Good to Very Good with some handling wear and a few pinpoint color breaks.Auction Info
