    Description

Mickey's Surprise Party Minnie Mouse Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1939). A hand-inked and hand-painted full, uncut nitrate cel of Minnie, from a short produced for the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco), and shown at the 1939 World's Fair on 2/18/39. Minnie is playing the piano in this scene, which comes from one of the very first cartoons with Mickey and Minnie's new design. Minnie was voiced by Marcellite Garner. Nice full figure image of 5.5", framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 17" x 15". Slight paint discoloration and separation in Minnie's hands, shoes, and the hem of her dress. Slight crack in her hair bow. Very Good condition overall. It's quite rare to find cels from this historic short!
